The Manila-Cavite Bypass Road, also known as the Noveleta Expressway (NOVELEX), is a major infrastructure project designed to enhance connectivity between Metro Manila and the Province of Cavite. This bypass road aims to ease congestion on the heavily used Magdiwang Highway and Manila-Cavite Road by providing an alternative route, significantly reducing travel time between the two areas.
Residents of Noveleta and Cavite City currently rely on a single major road—Magdiwang Highway—for access to Metro Manila, leading to heavy traffic, particularly during rush hours. NOVELEX will offer a much-needed alternative, ensuring faster, more efficient, and hassle-free travel while decongesting the existing road network.
Despite being called an expressway, NOVELEX is a toll-free road. Once completed, it will also connect the Manila–Cavite Expressway (CAVITEX) to Sangley Airport, making it a more accessible and a cost-effective option.
